Knit2gether at Tommy Douglas

You are here

Knit2gether at Tommy Douglas

Come work on your crafty projects with experienced knitters and dyers around you at Burnaby Public Library. We are making another charity blanket to celebrate Canada's 150th Birthday!  Please make your red and/or white, knitted or crocheted acrylic squares  8" x 8". Bring in all your squares by May 13 so that we can sew the squares together by mid-June. 63 squares will be perfect!

Everyone is welcome – all ages and all skill levels. Bring your yarn and needles, scissors, and supplies and get started! A limited number of needles and yarn is available for those who want to give knitting or crocheting a try.
