Physics in Action (Session 2)

Explore the secrets of Physics through hands-on activities and demos in static electricity, Faraday’s Cage, magnetic materials and Ampere’s Law. Experiment with heat transfer-conduction, heat transfer-convection and heat transfer-radiation and learn how a Stirling engine works. Other topics may include: light as energy, reflection, refraction, total internal reflection, the electromagnetic spectrum and colour.

This class is intended and designed for high school students who are participating in the School District 41 day at SFU Burnaby. Registration for this class begins on April 18th and ends on April 26th. Others are welcomed if space permits.
