Using Google My Maps to Put Local History on the Map (Session 2)

THIS CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Learn how to create interactive maps that will allow you to explore the many stories of Burnaby via historical photos, videos, and significant places. In this workshop, students will learn how to search local archival collections and use Google My Maps to create a map of Burnaby that spans history by simultaneously presenting material from different moments in time. These maps can be shared, embedded on websites, and even made into collaborative works in progress that students can continue to add material to, individually or as a team.
