From two unproblematic assumptions, it seems to follow that your blue jeans are evidence that all ravens are black, a result that many consider ridiculous. We'll talk about the reasoning that leads to the "paradox" (a classic in philosophy of science), and responses to it. The wearing of blue jeans is neither required nor prohibited.

This class is intended and designed for high school students who are participating in the School District 41 day at SFU Burnaby. Registration for this class begins on April 18th and ends on April 26th. Others are welcomed if space permits.
